How do you follow that?

So I read Zoe's post... and I'm just left wondering... how do I follow that? I think she just very well may be a better blog post writer than I am. Her post also got more comments than I usually get. And... she brought out some new commenters!!! Maybe she should take over the blog. A Madison Toddler.... hmmmm?
Zoe is not as good a secret keeper as I am though. She spilled the beans! She stole the big news!
I'm Pregnant!!!

There's the little peanut at our 8 week appointment. I'm now about 12 weeks... and AmericanBaby.com tells me the baby is now about 3 inches long. So, not really a peanut anymore.
I've been dying to write about so many things. Like... how exhausted I am. And how one day I was so nauseous all I could eat was toast (although not once did I throw up... even as a stomach virus attacked my house!). And how I'm "old" and that meant the doctor handed me a whole extra pile of stuff about being pregnant and giving birth after you're 35. And how I dreamed about having a wonderful spiral cut glazed ham for Christmas dinner, and how lovely it was while it was cooking, but how once it was on my plate this baby decided it didn't like ham and in no way was I eating it (reminding me of Christmas 2004... while pregnant with Zoe... and she decided I could not enjoy my favorite Mocha cake). And this baby doesn't like coffee either. And so many other things that have crossed my mind in the last few weeks.
So now I feel relief. I can write about whatever I want, whenever I want. I will still be anxious until I make it through my appointment on Friday (1/11), but, whatever will be will be.
Thank you all for your comments on Zoe's post. They were the most exciting comments to get. Each message that came in gave me butterflies just waiting to see what each of you would say. It was like telling my best bunch of girl friends. (And to the couple of new readers and commenters.... Welcome!)
