1. Leaving for a(nother) Florida vacation (by myself with Zoe and Ana).
2. Having your flight leave the gate right on time (after your original flight was cancelled for weather that never came).
3. Having your plane take off (after having to sit in the plane on the ground for 5 hours waiting to take off because that weather actually came).
4. Zoe and Ana sleeping through almost the entire flight (since it didn't take off until after 11pm).
5. A (free) glass of wine in flight.

Grace in Small Things - 62
1. Finally having my engagement ring and my wedding ring resized properly so I can wear them. (While I was pregnant, both times, my feet and hands both bloated terribly and were just never the same size again.)
2. Starbucks ice chai latte on a 90 degree day.
3. The smell of sunblock.
4. Flip flops.
5. Naptime.

A Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Dance
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
My, oh my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder
It's the truth, it's actual
Ev'rything is satisfactual
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!
(Zoe is on the far left... she's a VERY enthusiastic performer...)

Zoe's dance recital seems like it was ages ago. We went to her dance recital and her "graduation" (which I haven't posted yet) in the middle of June. Since then the summer is just rushing by us. We're trying to enjoy every minute.
I'll post when I can... and I'll play catch up when I can. We're just busy here living life... enjoying the weather... watching the girls grow. They're growing so fast... I'm trying not to blink for fear of missing something!

Grace in Small Things - 61
1. The look on Ana's face as first steps are attempted.
2. The way Zoe says "air condishconer".
3. Organic ant killer that is safe to use around kids... smells like wintergreen/rosemary/vanilla... and actually kills ants on contact.
4. The joy that Zoe gets from using the hose to make rainbows... while fully dressed.
5. Carnival games where everyone wins a prize every time.

Grace in Small Things - 60
1. Nick is safely home from another business trip.
2. Someone else can do bedtime.
3. Someone else can cook dinner.
4. Someone else can take out the garbage.
5. Someone else can change that poopy diaper.
Sisters
Zoe and Ana are becoming such sisters. I realize they have been sisters since the day Ana was born. And actually, we knew they were sisters from the moment Ana's ultrasound clearly showed us she was a girl. They have always been... and will always be... sisters.
But now? Now they are really starting to build that sister bond. That bond I've been watching over at Barely Controlled Chaos for about 2 years now. Zoe and Ana are getting that. Carrie has been telling me all about the sister relationship. I would see it and comment on it on her blog. Now... I'm watching it develop myself.

I'm sure in the future I will both love and curse the fact that I have 2 girls. But right now... I'm just loving it.

Busy busy busy
Life has been so busy. I can't believe my last post was before our cruise. I still really don't have time for a real post... but wanted to check in and say
"HI!!! I'M STILL ALIVE!!! OUR SHIP DID NOT SINK!!!"
So... a list... which I will follow up with full posts as soon as we slow down a bit.
Um... yeah. Save me.
"HI!!! I'M STILL ALIVE!!! OUR SHIP DID NOT SINK!!!"
So... a list... which I will follow up with full posts as soon as we slow down a bit.
- The cruise was wonderful. We drove to the port in New York City (about 1 hour) and then parked and got right on the ship. We went North to Canada... making stops in St. John and Halifax. We all had a good time. A little more sunshine would have been nice... but the temperature was in the 60s which wasn't too chilly and wasn't too hot. Perfect for trolley and bus tours... and a little walking. And then... when we were all cruised out and arrived back in our home port... we only had to jump in our car and drive (about 1 hour) home. It is so nice to skip the flight. I will have pictures to post very soon... and I'm sure it's will end up being 3 or 4 posts worth.
- Yesterday was Zoe's 4th birthday. 4 whole years old. We had her "friends' party" today at the ice cream shop in town and we'll have a "family party" on the 4th of July. Actually.... the family party is to celebrate Zoe's 4th (6/30) and Ana's 1st (7/10). It should be a blast. So again... I will have pictures to post very soon... and again... I'm sure it will end up being a couple of posts worth!
- My parents are visiting for a couple of weeks for the birthday parties and just to visit.
- My grandparents will be up tomorrow for a week for the party and to visit.
- My cousin Travis is staying with us this week. He turned 12 years old in June. Let's just say it's interesting for this house of little pink girls to have a preteen boy around. And... I didn't think it was possible to find someone in our family more addicted to computer internet games... but in a couple of days I have seen and know more about RuneScape than I feel should be possible in a year's time (and out of host courtesy I have allowed myself to be booted off of our computer for days at a time... and I'm online posting now because Travis is playing my Wii.). And also... we have been watching the Military Channel (which I didn't know existed) and I know a whole lot more about Ultimate Weapons.
- Swimming lessons at the community pool started Monday. Zoe has a lesson every weekday for 3 weeks. What was I thinking?
- I still have to post Zoe's "graduation" which was on 6/18 and her dance recital which was on 6/13.
- It's July. How is it possibly July?????
Um... yeah. Save me.
